Tasks and Responsibilities:

- As a Law Clerk or Intern at TRLA, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of tasks, including research and writing, client contact, document preparation, and community engagement.
- The specific tasks assigned to you will depend on your practice area and the cases we are working on during your time with us.
- You will have the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain valuable insight into the legal profession.
- In addition to your assigned tasks, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our mentoring program, where you will receive guidance and support from a TRLA advocate.
- Our mentoring program also offers the chance to connect with lawyers who can provide insight into legal-adjacent topics such as work-life balance, being a first-generation lawyer, and post-grad fellowships.
- We also organize social events to foster a sense of community and provide opportunities for networking.

Qualifications:

- We are looking for individuals who are fluent in Spanish, as this is preferred for some placements, particularly in border areas or with our Immigration Team.
- Candidates with an interest in rural or border placement are highly encouraged to apply.
