Job Description

Job Description

You will design, develop, and analyze manufacturing calibration, test and diagnostic hardware, software, and processes that assures the performance and safety of robot subsystems. The position will require close collaboration with product development teams, systems analysts, equipment engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality engineers to build a test strategy and develop software and test fixtures.

You may qualify for a Senior Systems Engineer level with sufficient experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of product operation, control systems, and manufacturing test algorithms
  • Understand product requirements within and across multiple functional areas, develop traceable manufacturing process requirements, and drive implementation of technically-sound test strategy.
  • Design, document, and qualify test systems and software for use in manufacturing robot subsystems
  • Work independently to overcome roadblocks (including production line issues) with minimum guidance while effectively leveraging available resources.
  • Improve the manufacturing test capability through new technology, software and analytics
  • Lead by having a breadth of technical knowledge that enables a top-level view of the entire project.  Using this perspective, you will act as an interface between the various technical specialties.  You are expected to take ownership of issues that cross disciplinary boundaries, and use your broad skillset to ensure the success of the project.
