    Job Description

  • Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements and function of the problem.
Ensure the product meets the organization and customers quality requirements. Support the engineering, product development and operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process. Investigate non-conformance and identifies root cause of problems in the production process and recommends/implements corrective and preventative actions Analyze data to identify trends in quality or defects to prevent future defectsInitiate first articles, VSE and customer specific requirements of all new jobs

The Successful Applicant

BS Degree is highly preferred. 3-5+ year experience Background in metals manufacturing is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of the AS-9100 Quality StandardExperience with GD&T, NDT and FAICMM Experience is a plus Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointHave excellent interpersonal skills, are positive, flexible, and have demonstrable sound technical and professional judgmentAbility to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerances
