The Sage Lifestyle prides themselves in creating an environment where interns can have a well rounded experience by partaking in projects across all departments including but not limited to: Marketing, E-Commerce, Design, Social Media, etc. The Sage Lifestyle is seeking positive, enthusiastic, self-starting individuals who are passionate about creating brand awareness and telling Sage’s story worldwide. This is a remote position, however there will be required weekly meetings with the internship team and supervisor(s). The hours are flexible, but weekly check-ins with the Supervisor are mandatory via email and/or Zoom depending on the project. 
This is for Fall/Winter 2024. 
Email and SMS Intern Expectations:

Work with the team to develop and implement email marketing strategies.


Identifying target segments, defining campaign goals, and determining the optimal frequency and timing of sending emails.


Segment and manage email lists, ensuring accurate targeting and personalized communication based on customer demographics, preferences, and behavior.


Monitor and study email campaign key performance indicators (KPIs), such as email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.


Identifying opportunities for email optimization and implementing A/B testing to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaign effectiveness and engagement rates.


Assisting in researching and analyzing different opportunities for email marketing.


Assist in the creation of reports using different web analytics tools and your own insights.


Providing feedback and best practices on various different initiatives.


Learn all about a variety of email marketing activities, including but not limited to email flow set-up, testing, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns.


Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in email marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.


Assisting in various research projects in the fields of Marketing, Design, E-Commerce, etc.

Intern Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or higher.


1-2 years marketing background in coursework and/or real world experience.


Positive, enthusiastic, and self-starting.


Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.


An interest in fragrances, beauty and wellness.


Exceptional attention to detail.


Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.


Proficiency with computers.


Proficiency with MS Office required (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).


Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing


A passionate, positive and willing-to-learn attitude

Preferred:

Shopify experience or any other platform similar is HIGHLY is a major plus.


Klaviyo or any similar email platform is a major plus.


Basic understanding of HTML.


Experience in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva.


Understanding of general email marketing practices.
