Essential Functions:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:
  • Under direction of the Manager(s)/Supervisor(s), directs employees to ensure accuracy, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Coordinates daily workflow and responds to routine work procedures/processes.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule as required which may include working off shifts, weekends, or after hours.
  • Resolves issues with appropriate assistance within chain of command.
  • Plan activities for department including setting target/goals.
  • Provide on the job training of new hires.
  • Follow safety rules including maintaining work environment and set example to others.
  • Bring safety concerns to direct supervisor/manager.
  • Track productivity statistics.
  • Able and willing to work in all areas of the DC.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked and properly ordered in time.
  • Provide a positive working environment.
  • Answer the phone and schedule delivery appointment into SharePoint.
  • Print various labels, including, but not limited to, price labels, barcode labels, location labels, Peco Pallet tags, Costco LPN, license plates, and bulk stickers for displays, trays and other miscellaneous projects.
  • Communicate with the Control Room Coordinator each morning on daily goals, to-do lists and priorities of the day.
  • Interact with warehouse personnel, via walkie-talkie, to obtain locations where product is needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to access AS400 to key in moves, manipulate priorities, assign bins, and delete locations.
  • Track QA of pullers and report back to Sr. Ops Manager of any misses.
  • Submit invoices for approval.Non-Essential Functions:
    • Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.Qualifications:
      • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
      • Minimum of 3 years office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
      • Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Highly organized and able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
      • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required which may include working off shifts and weekends, as needed.
      • Must be computer literate.
      • A minimum of 1 year working with various data systems including warehouse management system which can include inventory and shipping functions.
      • Production environment experience
      • Proficiency in English oral and written communication
      • Knowledge of 10-keyPhysical Requirements:The requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
        • Must be able to stand up to 8- 10 hours in a day.
        • Must be able to walk up to 6-10 hours.
        • Will continuously reach out at waist level.
        • Will occasionally push/pull up to 50 pounds.
        • Will frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
        • Will occasionally have repetitive foot movement.
        • Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping, and/or fine hand manipulation.
        • Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Language Skills:
          • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
          • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization.
          • Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
          • Ability to write routine reports.Mathematical Skills:
            • Strong mathematical skills are required for this position.
            • Employee will routinely need to calculate production requirements using known standards and estimated volumes.
            • Employee will also be responsible for reporting and maintaining production goals and achievement to those goals.Reasoning Ability:
              • Ability to use historical data and trends to forecast future requirements
              • Employee will routinely need to evaluate production standards and re-prioritize workloads
