Look no further – Children's Dental FunZone is on the lookout for a dynamic Smile Specialist to join our Dental Call Center team Children's Dental FunZone isn't just a dental practice; it's an amazing practice where smiles are guaranteed, and every call is an opportunity to create joy. With multiple locations across Southern California, we're not just building a team; we're assembling a squad of customer service champions ready to turn every interaction into a delightful journey. Must have a minimum of 1 year of call center experience. ****

Entry-Level Call Center Job Duties:

Manage a large number of Inbound calls, in a timely matter, while delivering great customer service. ****

Maintain a professional reception area/office.

Verify and update health information and insurance information for patients.

Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed.

Answer and respond to office telephone lines with professionalism.

Prepare and send out new patient referral thank-you letters and broken appointment letters.

Provide HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices to patients and document according to office policies and procedures.

See that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with legal requirements, including HIPAA regulations.

Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time.

Confirm upcoming appointments by telephone.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired Profile/Background:

Outstanding customer service skills. Excellent communication and computer skills. An upbeat personality is a MUST. Ability to multi-task (Type while on call), and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Clean, neat professional appearance. Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is a plus. High School Diploma and/or Associate Degree. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a must Must be able to work some Saturdays. Ability to answer repetitive calls.
