Department Overview
Children's Hospitals and Clinics Foundation department is the fundraising arm of Children's. Gifts to the Foundation support treatment programs, provide support for patients and families, fund medical research, and raise awareness of pediatric health issues throughout the community.
Position Summary
This role is an integral part of the Children's Minnesota Foundation by managing a team of individuals to engage supporters with a goal of long-term loyalty as well as the opportunity to increase support to Children's Minnesota over time. This critical role, reporting to the VP of Foundation Engagement and Associate Chief Development Officer will be involved in program design using data analysis, personalized marketing and communications and face-to-face engagement to retain and increase giving by donors to Children's Minnesota, while also identifying and qualifying prospects for major and planned gifts.

Education:
*Bachelor's degree (or relevant experience) in fields such as fundraising, nonprofit management, communications and marketing or sales.
Experience:
*5-8 years-experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, team management or related field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Proven experience in healthcare philanthropy, with a focus on donor qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing empathy and understanding of healthcare philanthropy motivations.
*Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed fundraising targets
*Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of individual fundraisers, a working manager who can direct and perform
*Demonstrated ability to translate data into action
*Demonstrated ability to approach work with a continuous improvement mindset, bringing innovation and curiosity and evaluation to projects
*Proficiency in using fundraising software and databases, knowledge of Raiser's Edge preferred
*Proficiency in understanding and analyzing donor data
*Excellent organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Foundation and clinical colleagues
*Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare priorities and deadlines.
*Passion for advancing healthcare initiatives and improving community health outcomes.
*Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and legal regulations within the healthcare sector.
The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota.
