Job Title: Senior Vice President Commercial Surety Producer

Location: Houston, Chicago, New York, Sacramento, and Seattle.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Vice President Commercial Surety Producer to join our team. The Senior Vice President Commercial Surety Producer will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition and management of new and existing commercial surety accounts. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of surety products, strong industry relationships, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development within the commercial surety market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the commercial surety sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, brokers, underwriters, and industry influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Lead the negotiation and structuring of surety programs that meet client needs while maximizing profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and risk management teams to assess client risk profiles and develop tailored surety solutions.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes affecting the commercial surety industry.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial surety sales or related fields, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of relationships within the commercial surety market, including clients, brokers, and industry associations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment principles.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other relevant business tools.
