Hearth & Home Technologies is searching for a Senior Vice President (SVP) for the Stove Business Unit to join our senior leadership team in Lakeville, MN. The Stoves Business Unit is one of four business units within Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) family of brands. Hearth & Home Technologies is the Residential Building Products division of HNI Corporation (NYSE: HNI). HHT is the world's leading developer, producer and installer of hearth products. HHT carries the industry’s best and most recognized brands, including: Heat & Glo, Stellar by Heat & Glo, Heatilator®, SimpliFire, Majestic, Monessen, Forge & Flame (Harman™, Vermont Castings, Quadra-Fire®), and Fireside Hearth & Home retail stores and builder design centers. The Senior Vice President will cast a strategic vision for the business unit and effectively communicate and lead the organization to achieve growth targets. As a member of the senior leadership team, this individual will be a proven business leader with strong financial acumen, strategic growth mindset in consumer products. An articulate leader and strong collaborator, this person will lead a team of skilled professionals in sales, marketing, finance and product management.    This leader will possess the vision, results-orientation and interpersonal skills required to set and execute a sales and product approach that streamlines offerings and processes while delivering value to dealers and consumers.  This leader will be a change agent who has challenged the status quo and infuses current organization paradigms with new ideas to help maintain a competitive advantage.   The successful candidate will have a track record of adeptly navigating channel conflict and developing and operationalizing strategies that generate share, revenue, and profit gains.  This leader must have experience in a channel-driven company as well as understand the importance of connecting with consumers to drive demand.  By anticipating what is coming around the corner, this senior executive will help shape new offerings based upon market, target, and geographic insight. This SVP has experience selling a portfolio of brands into home improvement retail and dealer channels and marketing to the end-user. This confident yet humble leader also has experience bringing different groups or siloed teams together to work more collaboratively and effectively.   We thrive on continual innovation and strive to design and incorporate the latest in materials and technology.   • Create, communicate, and lead the overall business unit strategy and implementation for the Stove Business Unit focused on driving profitable top-line sales growth. 
  • Align the organization to a consumer driven strategy and ensure that the alignment delivers commitment, enthusiasm and dedication for the company direction.
  • Actively work to coordinate sales and marketing efforts that creates cohesive efforts with clear communication and buy in from the sales team and dealers. 
  • Influence and assimilate all constituents’ (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations External Partners, etc.) strategic plans and tactical priorities, and execute the business unit and dealer initiatives to achieve aggressive growth and deliver customer/consumer satisfaction.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product Management) to ensure clarity and speed on business growth initiatives.
  • Generate long-term relationships with key retailers that makes them a trusted and credible partner to drive change. Manage dealer conflict in overlapping geography.
  • Create and manage assigned budget for the business unit. 
  • Mentor and coach a winning team and create an environment that gives the individual/team the responsibility and the authority to achieve growth goals, as well as holding them accountable for attainment of those goals; implement a fair and equitable management performance system.
  • Champion a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Minimum Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (master’s degree preferred)
  • 15 or more years of relevant combined sales, marketing, and general management experience
  • 7 or more years direct people management in a multi-disciplined team
  • Expert change agent who challenges current ways-of-working (transformation)
  • Prior matrix organization experience
  • Strong critical thinker with demonstrated strategic and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience that exhibits exceptional all-around business acumen, expert customer strategy and development and capability strengthening in B2B environments 
  • Demonstrated experience creating sales strategies based on market and customer insight with the ability to influence alignment throughout an organization
  • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, margins, and understanding of trade partner profitability
  • Outside in thinking from a consumer perspective as a starting point to drive vision and strategy
  • High resiliency level with good emotional awareness
  • Data driven decision maker
