Supervisory Management and Program Analyst

The ideal candidate for this position will be working with Federal, State, local, tribal or territorial government in community planning, development, or public administration as well as have experience with capability for community, urban or regional planning, local government administration and oversight to include analytic capabilities.
Duties
What will I do in this position if hired?
In this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst. Typical assignments include:
- Facilitating collaborative problem-solving work sessions with stakeholders in the development of strategies to build tools and resource for increasing recovery capacity at all levels of government.
- Leading a team to write and/or edit technical materials, policies, and guidance documents for leadership and executive review.
- Providing technical assistance, advice, and guidance to State, tribes, territories, and localities in order to assess community recovery capacity, planning challenges, and needs.
- Providing consultation to State, tribal and local leadership on long term recovery and redevelopment planning, supporting Community Assistance Recovery Support Function (CARSF) and FEMA Field Leadership.
- Leading a team in the development of tools to assist the Community Assistance Recovery Support Function in delivering its mission.

Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
