The RELEX team is growing in the United States and is looking for a full-time Program Director, Space and Assortment.
Location: US (must live and work in EST/CST). With this role you have the option of working 100% remotely from the US. Strong preference for candidates based in Atlanta.
Your main responsibilities will be owning and guiding the development of our solution suite to meet the needs of our largest customers. As a Program Director, you will responsible for ensuring the successful development and deployment of pre-agreed capabilities we are developing for our customers. You will be the link between our customers and our R&D teams – with a close working relationship with our implementation consultants, owning the communication to and from the client, and being the north star for the development of those capabilities with RELEX’s development teams. By building senior (Director, CX Suite) customer relationships, setting out the product strategy, negotiating escalation regarding scope, resource and commercials, and ensuring our meet the KPI expectations of both RELEX and the customer. Ensuring all timelines are met by overseeing R&D plans, alignment to the wider development roadmap and communication to senior RELEX stakeholders.

Travel will be required to visit customers on a regular basis or occasionally to meet with the RELEX teams in our other offices.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Coordinating the communication and development strategy of a portfolio of development initiatives spanning different customer accounts. Tasks include:
- Accountable for the initiative roadmap, as it relates to specific customer commitments and development, working closely with stakeholders in Product & Technology teams
- Accountable for roadmap communication and reporting to customer accounts
- Responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships with key stakeholders (Director and CX Suite level)
- Ensuring that all stakeholders are adequately informed of roadmap progress internally & externally
- Guiding and agreeing the communication plan, including internal and external steering group meetings
- Accountable for development scope alignment with customer account and ensuring that feature development will meet their needs
- Acting as an escalation point for key decisions or bottlenecks from the customer team
- Acting as an escalation point for key internal strategic decisions such as resourcing
- Participating and supporting sales process to agree appropriate timelines, resource requirements, and project approach
- Participating and supporting account strategies and driving forward long term goals
- Attending suitable industry or RELEX events if needed
- Attending training and developing relevant knowledge and skills
Key requirements:
- Experience leading multiple successful IT system implementations within large Retail IT landscapes
- Experience of senior positions on governance or steering committees
- Experience managing a complex network of internal and external senior stakeholders
- Experience presenting, consulting and influencing/guiding senior audiences on change management practices
- Effective leadership, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders, influence and negotiate
- Strong risk analysis and risk management plans; proactively mitigating risk, and steering the strategic direction of projects appropriately
What we consider a strong plus:
- Qualified to degree level OR sustained (+10 years) experience of working in the retail industry leading IT systems development
- Entrepreneurial attitude with interest towards growing the business
- Merchandising & Space Industry knowledge
- Experience with a grocery / CPG / FMCG retailer or supplier
- Ability to understand Supply Chain & Merchandising systems from both business and IT perspectives
- Any other languages at a high level of competency
- Any Product Management qualifications
