Training and Experience: Two (2) years experience working within a Club/Resort environment with one (1) year minimum as a supervisor/manager; valid state driver’s license. Must have CPR and First Aid Certification.

JOB SUMMARY: Direct the daily operations of the Beach Reception, Beach Rentals & Concessions to include: ensuring the finest level of service and highest quality of facility is provided for our members & guests. Promoting fitness within the Club/Resort operation in an effort to maximize revenues for the department. Hiring and terminating employees. Providing training support for Beach Rentals and Beach Reception staff. Administer payroll and scheduling for department under the direction of the Director of Surf Club.

Physical Abilities: Ability to effectively communicate with the members & guests. Must be able to move about entire property, insuring top quality appearance and service. Capable of moving, carrying and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Duties and Functions

Delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced luxury resort and private member club. Leadership by example to develop a welcoming team and the ability to work a flexible schedule, that includes weekends and holidays.  Set a professional standard in positivity and personal appearance, according to GHG Style Guide. Develop and monitor the efficient operation of the Beach Reception, Beach Rentals & Concessions. Establish high standards and continually monitor inventory, cleanliness, appearance, and safe repair of all rental equipment inventoried. Have an welcoming demeanor to greet members and guests by name whenever possible. Make every effort to learn the names of familiar members and guests. See that their requests are executed as completely and promptly as possible. Employ, train, supervise, and discipline personnel when appropriate according to Club procedures in coordination with Director of Rooms Lead staff training and performance evaluations completed  in a timely and consistent basis. Create safe working environment for staff, members and resort guests. Ensure any hazard has been reported and corrected.  Ensure proper repairs and routine maintenance is routinely performed on all tools & equipment. Maintain and safeguard member storage assignments and ensure accurate annual accounting. Keep work area clean, neat organized and safe. Perform and follow up on any other duties as assigned by the Director of Surf Club Operations.
