YOUR ROLE
Responsible for performing a variety of warehouse tasks and duties.  The candidate will perform duties as assigned under the direction of management. The current opening will be focused on Material Handling.  Accomplishes all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Maintain Inventory by identifying, labeling and placing material and supplies in stock; recording the inventory.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying, materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.  Receive product from production by verifying material and supplies, lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
  • Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection; making operator repairs.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and work independently. 
  • Experience working in similar role in manufacturing, transportation or warehouse setting. 
  • Team player/detailed oriented. 
  • Ability to perform physically intensive labor including  the associate is regularly required to talk; hear; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms; be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk for periods of time and stand for periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. 
  • Must be able to perform duties in a warehouse environment while working closely with others, working well in busy conditions which may be noisy at times. 
  • Ability to take direction and work in accordance to set standards of performance and safety. 
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
