Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare items for shipment with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Act as a material handler, facilitating operations efficiently.
  • Assist truck drivers while adhering to all safety protocols and RFC procedures.
  • Ensure that lifting devices are regularly inspected, serviced, and maintained, and perform necessary documentation of these inspections.
  • Utilize lift equipment to move, load, and unload materials, ensuring they are delivered to and from production areas.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, creating all required documentation for shipments, and ensuring materials are correctly packed and labeled.
  • Document any shortages and communicate with relevant internal departments regarding damages or discrepancies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in material areas, ensuring proper tagging of all items.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software is preferred.
