Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare items for shipment with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Act as a material handler, facilitating operations efficiently.
- Assist truck drivers while adhering to all safety protocols and RFC procedures.
- Ensure that lifting devices are regularly inspected, serviced, and maintained, and perform necessary documentation of these inspections.
- Utilize lift equipment to move, load, and unload materials, ensuring they are delivered to and from production areas.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, creating all required documentation for shipments, and ensuring materials are correctly packed and labeled.
- Document any shortages and communicate with relevant internal departments regarding damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in material areas, ensuring proper tagging of all items.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software is preferred.

While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to stand, use hands for handling, and frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities needed include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
