Our client, an Innovative, reliable technology solution to power is seeking an Accounting/Finance AP Specialist to join their team. As an Accounting/Finance AP Specialist, you will be part of the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative style and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting/Finance Specialist, Accounts Payable

Location: Palo Alto CA

Pay Range: $34-$40 hr.

Shift M-F 8am-4:30pm

Temp to hire

What’s the Job?

  • Processing and maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling vendor’s statements, and assuring accurate payments to suppliers.

  • Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger. Maintaining cash applications, and chargebacks.

  • Maintaining organized and accurate financial records and documentation.

  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and appropriate authorization.

  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers for payments and managing payments.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 4-5 years of working experience in account payables, accounting, financial and business principles that maximized revenue and profits in a manufactured environment.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.
