 180 the Store, a luxury retail/lifestyle with stores located in Tribeca and Amagansett, NY,  is seeking a person to fill the position of Assistant Store Manager, for our Tribeca location. The Manager will possess in-depth knowledge  for the designers we represent, a passion for luxury craftmanship and design, and experience in  the luxury market. They will need to have outstanding sales and management skills and extensive knowledge of the fashion industry. The Assistant Store Manager will manage and oversee all personnel, sales, develop and store clients, stock, inventory, and operational functions of the store. A key part of the Store Manager's role will be developing their team to ensure superior client service while maintaining the highest retail standards. MUST HAVE IN-DEPTH WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SHOPIFY

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Oversee and assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and managing store employees. Develop and maintain a store client book. Manage all updates and training related to the 180 the Store Handbook & company operational standards/ practices. Regularly analyze sales trends, monitor inventory, and achieve monthly sales goals. Ensure all operational policies and procedures are kept up to date. Develop a strategy to measure and ensure that all employees, new hires, and tenured employees are trained in these operations, policies, and procedures. Participate in weekly store meetings with sales staff and thorough product training seminars. Promote and monitor quality service among the sales team through training and acting as a positive role model. Ensure that the sales team receives appropriate customer service and engagement training. Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing outstanding performance and service. Motivate and develop sales staff to encourage their professional development. Identify and implement strategies to retain and develop existing and new clients. Manage and monitor stock levels to minimize discrepancies and ensure inventory is maintained at an optimum level to maximize sell-thru. Work with the local community and organizations to establish a strong network.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :

 

4+ years in the luxury fashion/retail business Strong sales and merchandising skills In-depth working knowledge of Shopify Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly motivated and personable Excellent knowledge of the luxury fashion industry
