The Chief of Ambulatory Care Services provides oversight of clinical and non-clinical staff across a variety of locations including the main medical center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The incumbent is ultimately responsible for overall Ambulatory Care ICC clinical and administrative operations. Duties include but are not limited to:
Developing strategic plans, policies, procedures, and organizational structures required to fulfill the service line's mission
Collaborating with clinical and administrative operations and program/section managers to ensure integrated goals and priorities for the ICC are established and met
Ensuring all residency, intern, and fellowship training program mandates are met in coordination with discipline service chiefs and program coordinators
Providing leadership, coordination and direction to the entire Ambulatory Care ICC to achieve optimal utilization of available resources
Responsible for staffing, work assignments, budget, oversight of the clinical services provided, establishing and maintaining admission criteria for the Ambulatory Care programs, and oversight of program operations



Work Schedule:
Full time, Monday - Friday. Day shift, but hours may vary depending upon the needs of the service.
