Assists in the development of Air Traffic Control (ATC) policy and procedures applicable to organizations, facilities, and personnel throughout the Army, and reserve components.
Provides technical assistance, advice, and guidance to team members to ensure that the training products developed meet the high and complex standards required for worldwide application.
Coordinates with outside organizations in the development and implementation of future air traffic control evaluation and proficiency training requirements for terminals, centers programs.
Evaluates knowledge of the flight and performance characteristics of aircraft, aircraft separation standards, and the skill and ability to keep air traffic properly separated on the runways and in the air.
Develops a wide range of briefings and information papers for presentation at air traffic control forums and meetings concerning terminal and radar airspace training.
Establishes policy and procedures, reviews proficiency or remedial training procedures, and develops facility training programs.
Tracks the position qualification of trainees, reviews training allocated for rating and certification programs.
