Systems Technician II

HOW A SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Responsible for supporting all aspects of the of the USARCENT Video Teleconferencing operations located at Patton Hall.

● Maintain an updated inventory of equipment such as unit, location, configuration and POC for each piece of VTC equipment

● Will schedule and operate the conference bridging for suites using (MCU) CISCO MSE 8000, and provide circuit validation and all other required functions on the bridge and endpoints

● Will update of software and firmware versions on all VTC equipment and test updated equipment to validate proper functionality and operations.

● Responsible for assisting users with conduction a VTC when required

● Will be able to properly load, change and configure cryptographic equipment as required in support of the VTC equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: High School Diploma/GED

● Required Experience: 1+ years of related system admin or VTC experience

● CompTIA Security+ CE preferred

● Security Clearance Level: Secret

● Location: On Customer Site at Shaw AFB, SC

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $24.52 - $33.18. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
