We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician II to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting complex electronic systems on our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems and interpret technical manuals and documents.
- Work with interrelated circuits and make judgments in planning work sequences, selecting tools, and testing equipment.
- Provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians and receive technical guidance from supervisors or higher-level technicians.
- Maintain, repair, and modify various types of electronic equipment and related devices, including radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids.
- Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions and recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications.
- Read and interpret USAF technical orders, service bulletins, engineering data, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and best method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning systems.
- Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequences, selecting tools, and testing instruments.
- Proficiency in using USAF Technical Orders, operating the Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS), documenting AFTO 781 forms, and entering data into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
- Experience in fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses or a variety of electrical components and equipment associated with aircraft systems functionality.
- Knowledge of HAXMAT/HAZWASTE, corrosion control, inspection/repair, maintenance inspection, aircraft launch and recovery, aircraft servicing, towing, and jack/shoring of aircraft.
- Desired skills include six (6) years of experience on C-130 aircraft, experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft avionics and electrical systems, and experience as a 7-Level or CDI Equivalent, Electronic/Avionics Systems Technician with Three (3) years of C-130J flight line aircraft experience.
This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
