The VP of Recruiting is responsible for leading a team of recruiters to bring in the future Owner-Operators. In general, our stores are independently owned and operated, typically by a person or a pair of people with retail management experience and entrepreneurial hunger. Aspiring Operators proceed into a rigorous training program of approximately five months before being selected for a store. The VP, Recruiting, will report to the Chief Stores Officer.
As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for innovation and the development of the strategic plan for Aspiring Operators Recruiting, including development of growth in new markets and lead generation strategy, scaling the team and functions within the department to achieve goals, communication of value proposition to prospective Aspiring Operators and development and execution on recruiting goals.
Understand the role and goals of the Aspiring Operators Recruiting function in the overall corporate strategy and set objectives that are aligned with these.
Work and collaborate with the business partners, including Aspiring Operators Training and Transitions teams, to identify and develop Aspiring Operators key capabilities and competencies, and assessment tools to ensure quality Aspiring Operators for to drive Aspiring Operators success.
Set recruiting targets to match our geographic and timing needs for store openings. Manage the Aspiring Operators Recruiting budget and marketing costs.
Develop a robust internal recruiting program in partnership with the Aspiring Operators training team.
manages achievement of goals/quotas; rewards strong performance and addresses performance issues promptly and consistently.
Ability to use resource tools to develop appropriate pipeline opportunities.
Travel to meet and network with internal stakeholders and potential candidates.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
~10+ years recruiting and leading recruiting efforts for customer-facing business leaders (e.g., Passion for working with our Independent Operators to help them improve and grow their businesses.
~ Strong planning skills and analytical abilities, especially with matching role openings in the future to efforts for today.
~ able to effectively manage time.
~ Experience in performance assessment and coaching.
~ Experience managing remote teams.
~ Experience managing a team budget.
~ Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred.
