Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) based in San Jose, California to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the strategic alignment of HR with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. The CHRO leads HR initiatives that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

3. Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the attraction of top talent.

4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

5. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

6. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

7. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

Requirements

1. Proven working experience as a CHRO or in a senior HR executive role.

2. Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.

3. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

4. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.

5. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6. Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

7. Relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is an advantage.
