Onsite*Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is currently looking for an Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Precision Navigation (PNav) Hardware department within the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) Mechanical and RF section*. These contracts encompass sustainment efforts for the US military as well as production obligations for an international contract. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of crucial navigation systems serving both domestic and international needs.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong background in both RF and Digital Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, development, integration, and testing. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in debugging electrical issues in a laboratory environment. These skills are essential for ensuring the successful execution of projects within the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) Mechanical and RF section of the Precision Navigation (PNav) Hardware department at Collins Aerospace, an RTX company.
*Perform minor CCA redesigns and associated DVT testing
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs in lab to support field LRU return
• Identify and document redlines to existing ATNAVICS documentation
• Support suppliers during build process to help resolve any issues
• Support manufacturing to troubleshoot electrical or RF issues found during refurbishments or production
• *Occasional travel to Largo, FL may be required*
• Fundamental knowledge of microwave and digital circuit design
• Exposure to Electrical Engineering design tools for circuit and electromagnetic simulation (Keysight ADS, CST, or equivalent)
• Experience in a lab environment operating RF and standard test equipment including spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Occasional domestic travel and potential international travel may be required*
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
• *Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance or Higher is REQUIRED*
• S. government issued security clearance is required
• S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
