Project Facilities Specialist - Installation Coordinator .
This role oversees the basic to advanced installation and setup of new or existing facilities as required by project. This person will be responsible for coordinating on-site deliveries, installation activities and helping to maintain schedules through the final weeks of a project.
Travel Requirement:
This role is 100% travel with ten days Monday through the following Wednesday at a designated location in the US then followed by four full days Thursday to Sunday off.
This is a remote role, however, must live near an airport and be willing to travel on this schedule.
Construction Manager and the Project Manager (PM) overseeing the projects assigned to the Project Facilities Specialist. The project manager will vary depending on project.
Coordinate facility setup including installation of furniture, store fixtures, IT, and warehouse racking
Manage counter retail set-up by accepting shipments, unloading and tracking product inventory, and installing gondola and display systems
Coordinate vendors with contractors, and sub-contractors
Develop and communicate related installation schedules
Additional construction related activities as assigned by the project PM
heavy travel required
Forklift certified a plus, however training is available
Willingness to be hands-on with installation and assembly of fixtures and components.
Time management skills - self starter
Ability to manage and work well with installation crews
Proficiency with office software or demonstrate a willingness to learn
