Chemours is seeking a Global Substance Registration Project Manager to become a part of our expanding team.

In the role of Global Substance Registration Project Manager, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of enthusiastic professionals, contributing to our business success by formulating and executing the substance registration strategy. This involves coordinating with a group of regulatory specialists and consultants to prepare global registration submissions, leveraging knowledge of existing chemical registration requirements (such as US TSCA, EU REACH, Japan ISHL/ENCS, Korea REACH, Taiwan, etc.) and emerging regulations (including India REACH). Your responsibility will include ensuring that the business possesses the necessary information to establish a global substance registration framework that supports new substance registrations aligned with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of substance registrations by developing effective processes and project management tools. Collaborate with a team of regulatory specialists, toxicologists, consultants, and business stakeholders to gather essential information from key stakeholders to develop, prepare, and submit substance registrations in accordance with commercialization timelines. Formulate a registration strategy based on stakeholder feedback and effectively communicate the plan and timeline. Support product stewardship, regulatory, and sustainability teams, including product development, business initiatives, and market assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations while aligning with corporate sustainability objectives. Monitor and relay internal and external changes that may impact substance registration requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Biological Science, or a related technical field; or a High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant regulatory experience. A minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance or within the chemical industry. Proven project management, communication, and teamwork skills, alongside problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy. Familiarity with key regulations (e.g., US TSCA, EU REACH, Korea REACH, etc.) and the capacity to learn about products and associated substances. Ability and willingness to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across different countries and time zones.
