ELS Construction has opening for experienced Accountant

Requirements

4 year Degree in Accounting
CPA a plus
2 year minimum of Experience in Construction - either public accounting or industry
Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
IT skills / experience a plus
Strong Excel skills, experience with job costing.
Deltek / ComputerEase knowledge a plus

Duties

Billing receivables - making collection calls, builder relations
Help with monthly financial statements
Insurance renewals, endorsements, Certificates of Insurance.
Updating budgets - review and report on budget differences
Assist with annual audit - schedules, reconciliations, work with auditors
Accounting for fixed assets - including inventories, purchases, sales, depreciation.
Assisting others in accounting, Payroll, AP, help with 1095 reports each year.
Review of contracts and assist with negotiations
Profit improvement, key trends and ratios.

Job Benefits

Salary $ 80,000 year or more depending on experience
Full time position - 5 days a week - early hours
Benefits available, Health insurance, Dental
401K after 1 year - fully vested - safe harbor
Vacation, holidays, sick pay.
Two bonuses each year
