We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus in the amount of $7,500 for this Mental Health Professional career opportunity
1,500 of the sign-on bonus after 30 days of employment.
$1,500 of the sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.
$4,500 of the sign-on bonus after 6 months of employment.
The signing bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.
Working under the Wraparound and Youth CCS systems of care, which includes a unique set of values that emphasizes individualized, strength-based, trauma-informed, family-driven, community-based, and culturally sensitive care.
Provide clinical supervision and management to CCS staff. This includes individual, group and side by side supervision in accordance with DHS 36.
Assist staff in identifying services from the CCS service array appropriate to address barriers to recovery.
Monitor and approve staff documentation to ensure good clinical practice and maximize billing. Ensure accountability for timely annual functional screen evaluations which determine ongoing eligibility for Youth CCS enrollees.
Attend safety plan meetings, team meetings, and/or other face to face visits for high-risk youth, as requested by Care Coordinators, to provide clinical assessment and support.
Keep Wraparound Milwaukee/Youth CCS Administrators informed of emergency or critical incidents in collaboration with Program Manager and Assistant Program Director.
Attend all required trainings and in-services as requested by Milwaukee County and Wisconsin Community Services.
Assist and support CCS staff during crisis situations/provides coverage during times of staff shortage.
Engage in quality assurance and quality improvement activities as identified by
Wisconsin Community Services and Wraparound Milwaukee/Youth CCS.
Represent the Agency in the community and at County initiatives as needed.
Appropriately document all contact with clients and team members. Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Science or related field (psychology, educational psychology, social work, counseling, marriage, and family, etc.) Working knowledge of computer applications preferred (Windows and Microsoft Word).
Ability to display cultural competence by responding respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, languages, classes, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and other diversity factors in a manner that recognizes, affirms, and values the worth of everyone.
Has contact with a wide variety of individuals including children and family members, other program staff, including other collateral contacts, neighbors, funders, Wraparound Milwaukee Administration, Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services (DMCPS), Milwaukee County Department of Youth & Family Services (DYFS), Court officials, Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) staff and administrators, staff of youth serving agencies and the general public.
Follow agency and Code of Conduct and adhere to established policies and procedures of the agency Milwaukee County/Wraparound. Dress in a respectful manner (refer to Wraparound Policy #040 - Dress Code) and always maintain a respectful demeanor and presentation. Must not post any client identifying information on any web-based social networking sites (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, etc.) maintain professional and respectful relationships with program staff, other WCS staff, youth/families, and all external persons and agencies involved with service provision; sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic and disability issues; good understanding of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring needs and the effects on the people being served by the CCS program and their families; ability to support staff
nowledge of positive child/youth development; the ability to interact with escalating youth and/or parents in a calm and professional manner; perform basic computer functions; sensitivity towards cultural, ethnic and disability issues.
Work is performed primarily in a busy office environment. Some of the work is done sitting at desk using a computer; requires outreach in the community and families’ homes; much of the outreach is done in urban neighborhoods and time may be spent driving; flexible work schedule include some hours outside the normal work schedule.
