- Leading the foundation of a marketing function - Partner with the founders to build a repeatable, reliable marketing arm and team across all areas of marketing - product, customer, growth, and brand marketing (with emphasis on product and customer marketing)
- Making an impact - Partner with the founders and other team members to solve new challenges and deepen the impact and excitement we have among students and administrators
- Driving our client's growth strategy - Increase the efficiency and output of our growth engine and evolve our GTM strategy to provide mission-aligned opportunities to our Enterprise Sales team via both direct and indirect channels (thought leadership, events, outbound emails, webinars, digital, etc.)
- Wearing many hats to support different teams - Collaborate with other teams (incl Customer Success, Product) to play the role of marketing in their areas (new module launch, supporting onboarding customers, product videos, etc.).
- Enabling the Sales Team - Provide a library of relevant, targeted assets at each phase of the buyer journey (decks, case studies, evaluation materials, etc.).
- Developing our client's brand identity - Leverage our deep relationships across thought leaders to build a brand identity that captures our client's vision, personality, and voice. We're building a company that's 'loved by students and valued by administrators'
- Building stage-fit marketing processes - Use the right mix of tools, systems, dashboards, and processes to bring effectiveness and efficiency in the marketing process.
- You're a creative, generalist marketer with strong interest in product, customer, and growth marketing.
- You've built (or co-built) a marketing function at a high growth, early stage company before, preferably from scratch. This includes the marketing engine, playbook and the team.
- You have deep experience at enterprise saas marketing (e.g ABM) with multiple stakeholders and high ACV deals - or can easily adapt to the enterprise space.
- You enjoy both strategic and tactical thinking.
- You are scrappy and can achieve maximum, industry-level results with limited resources.
- You enjoy writing and can adapt the tone based on the audience (provosts, CIOs, students, etc.).
- You are data-driven and love running experiences.
- You deeply care about the brand and are excited to build a strong, modern identity for our clients that works for both buyers (provosts, VPs) and end-users (students, advisors).
