Ferguson is currently seeking a Sales Project Manager to join our team servicing and managing Houston customer projects in the Downstream Industrial Industry. Focusing on End User Plants, Industrial Contractors and Fabricators, and Capital/EPC Companies.
Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project
Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment
Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan
of Sales and Project Management experience in the Industrial Distribution Industry.
Bachelor's Degree is a plus
Industrial Pipe, Valve, and Fittings along with Engineered Specialty Products
Prior industry experience specifically in the Industrial Downstream Market is strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.)
Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively managing industrial projects
