Regional Sales Manager

As the Regional Sales Manager for the West, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales functions within the territory. Your primary goal will be to drive orders growth, develop and maintain strong client relationships, and ensure the overall success of the sales team. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the West Region.
This position is part of the Global Sales Organization and will be fully remote. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the North America Sales Leadership Team and report to the Senior Director, North America Sales responsible for achieving revenue, growth and strategic goals in the West Region.
*Sales Performance: *Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the West region, aligned with company objectives and market dynamics, in order to hit assigned quota.
* *Team Leadership: *Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
* *Development: *Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* *Forecasting: *Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management to support business planning and resource allocation.
*Bachelor's degree in a life science related field, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
* At least 1 year of proven experience hiring for and managing a remote sales team in the Life Sciences industry, or related experiences.
* At least 5 years proven experience in commercial sales roles in the Life Sciences industry.
* At least 1 year of sales or sales management for a Contract Development and/or Contract Manufacturing Organizations supporting Cell and Gene Therapies
* At least 1 year of sales experience into the clinical drug development process, including knowledge of call points, sales cycle and KOL for Biotech and Pharma in the Cell and Gene Therapy space
