As a Child Autism Specialist, you'll have the remarkable chance to contribute directly to the developmental growth of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is an entry-level role and does not require prior certification; we provide complete training for this position.
Recent college graduates looking to jump start their career: Psychology graduates, special education graduates, child development grads, teaching degree holders, or similar
Anyone with childcare experience and who loves kids: Child care providers, paraprofessionals, nannies, babysitters, preschool teachers, day care workers, Montessori teachers or assistants, tutors, substitute teachers, childcare volunteers, Sunday School teachers, or similar
Home health aides, behavioral health techs, psychiatric aides, child life specialists, or others
Encore career workers: anyone looking for a fresh start in a mission-driven organization supporting kids
Offer one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children aged 2-6 in a clinic environment, guided by science-backed, naturalistic therapeutic methods
Implement intervention plans crafted by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech, and occupational therapy
Team up with the child's healthcare professionals to provide consistent, high-quality care
Previous experience with children aged 2-6, ideally in a professional capacity
Computer and tablet literacy
Preference for college graduates or people pursuing a college degree
All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
