Hiring for Flexible RN Shifts in St. Louis As the exclusive on-demand healthcare staffing partner for SSM Health, we’re hiring RNs to fill open shifts at SSM locations in St. Louis, including Saint Louis University Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and SSM Behavioral Health. In other words, we’re growing an external float pool for them.
Through the ShiftMed app, our nurses can choose the shifts they want at SSM Health, creating a completely personalized work schedule. Our nurses can work per diem, part-time, or full-time hours. They can work day or night shifts, and weekends and holidays are there for them to work if they want to. And because there are no shift minimums, they can work 8 hours one week and 40 the next.
What are we looking for? SSM Health relies on ShiftMed nurses to fill scheduling gaps and maintain top-quality patient care at various locations. Therefore, we need dependable RNs to perform fundamental nursing responsibilities, focusing on providing safe, competent, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
More specifically, RNs who can: • Demonstrate clinical judgment within an evidence-based practice. • Collaborate with other healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes. • Deliver care that meets the unique faith and cultural needs of patients. • Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in all patient care situations.
While you don’t need a nursing specialty to apply, it would be awesome if you were a/an:
• Emergency Room RN • Intensive Care Unit RN • Medical Surgical RN • Telemetry RN • Behavioral Health RN • NICU RN
What are our basic requirements? • Active RN license from the State of Missouri • Minimum six months of RN work experience • CPR-BLS Certification • Able to push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds • Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
