We are seeking a highly motivated Facility Engineer to support the U.S. Army's Ground Combat Systems program in a partner country. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our international partners possess the facilities and capabilities to effectively maintain and support ground combat vehicles.

Essential Job Functions:

Optimize Partner Country Facilities: You will leverage your engineering expertise to assess and optimize the capabilities of existing facilities within our partner country. This includes analyzing space allocation, identifying potential bottlenecks in manufacturing processes, and recommending solutions to enhance overall efficiency.

Review Facility Plans: Working closely with international companies, you will critically review their facility plans for supporting ground combat vehicles. This involves ensuring the plans align with our technical specifications, identify any potential shortcomings, and collaborate on modifications for optimal functionality.

Expansion Planning & Growth: You will play a key role in planning for future growth within our partner country's facilities. This includes reviewing expansion plans, identifying opportunities to increase capacity, and providing recommendations for infrastructure improvements.

Domestic Travel: Travel within the continental US may be required to collaborate with domestic industrial partners supporting the Ground Combat Systems program. (International travel is not anticipated.)

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) is required.

A minimum of 12 years of experience working within a vehicle manufacturing environment is required.

This experience should encompass:

Space allocation and optimization.

Understanding of vehicle repair processes.

Proven ability to source and implement effective engineering solutions.

Experience in industrial engineering methodologies is highly desirable.
