Job Summary

Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to ensure 100% uptime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor fire/life safety, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hot water systems.
  • Monitor and adjust refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment, boilers, ventilating and water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.
  • Record readings and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Analyze system operation, determine the cause of problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action.
  • Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Learn and understand the data center site to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk.
  • Work order management, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
  • Understand and comply with emergency escalation procedures.
Requirements
  • Estimated total compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD per year.
  • The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.
  • The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
