Job Description

  • Requires taking ownership of the Gas Cylinder and Lab Pack Inventory
  • Work directly with Department Supervisors and Operators
  • Assist in receiving and QC of Gas Cylinders
  • Safe Movement of waste cylinders and drums
  • Assist with housekeeping of Cylinder and Lab Pack storage areas
  • Scanning of Cylinder and Lab Pack waste inventory
  • Update Wastrak
  • Data entry and file management
  • Maintain COI inventory spreadsheets to meet DHS requirements
  • Retrieve Cylinders and Lab Packs from inventory
  • Ensure proper segregation and storage of waste containers
  • Miscellaneous requests as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Strict Adherence to protocols for handling pressurized and highly reactive chemicals
  • Must be self-motivated with strong problem solving-skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability and willingness to learn DOT and EPA regulations
  • 40-hour Hazwoper training is preferred
  • Experience with, and handling of, compressed gas cylinders is a major plus
Days: Monday through Thursday
(Currently working 4-10's)
Hours: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (hours could vary slightly)
