Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager for our clients Modesto food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and direct quality assurance programs, ensuring products meet high-quality standards and comply with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure plant operations comply with policies and regulations.
- Lead implementation of SQF, HACCP, and FSMA programs.
- Drive quality improvement via KPIs and audits.
- Supervise quality staff, providing guidance and training.
- Liaise with auditors and manage certifications and inspections.
- Support management with technical expertise.
- Develop SOPs and manage CAPA programs.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
- Oversee hold/release, trace, and recall programs.
- Manage departmental budget and allergen program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Dairy Science or related field.
- 5+ years in dairy quality assurance management.
- Experience with quality control programs and regulatory visits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Certified in HACCP, SQF, and PCQI.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and SQF Code.
Must be open to working all shifts including weekends and holidays.
Salary: $85-$95k
