Role Overview:

  • Oversee plant operations to ensure compliance with quality and food safety regulations.
  • Implement and manage SQF, HACCP, and FSMA protocols.
  • Promote ongoing quality enhancement through systematic audits and performance metrics.
  • Lead and mentor quality assurance staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external audits and certifications.
  • Address and resolve food safety concerns promptly.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs.
  • Manage customer feedback and coordinate product recall processes.
  • Administer the departmental budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Supervise allergen management and testing protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in quality assurance within the dairy sector.
  • Proficient in quality control methodologies and dairy product assessment.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Certification in HACCP, SQF, and PCQI is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Capability to uphold confidentiality in all matters.
