Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to take charge of optimizing and overseeing our IAM operations. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in IAM technologies, coupled with strong leadership skills and a fervor for enhancing automation and process efficiencies. This role entails managing day-to-day IAM tasks, identifying operational inefficiencies, and implementing automated solutions to bolster efficiency and ensure compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Daily IAM Operations: Supervise the onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes for all employees, ensuring adherence to SLAs and regulatory mandates.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and nurture a team of 15 IAM professionals, including remote team members.
  • Automation and Optimization: Identify automation opportunities within IAM processes and deploy solutions leveraging tools like PowerShell and ServiceNow.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine IAM processes to slash turnaround times and amplify operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Security: Guarantee that all IAM activities align with pertinent regulations and uphold security standards, such as HIPAA.
  • Incident Management: Swiftly address and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents as they arise.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and uphold dashboards and reports to monitor IAM performance and gauge the impact of automation.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in IAM operations, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies (AD, Azure AD, Office 365).
  • Scripting Proficiency: Expertise in scripting languages like PowerShell, along with familiarity with ServiceNow or similar automation tools.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing IAM teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Familiarity with IAM-related regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders across all levels.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing IAM projects and initiatives.
