Our client, a leading Rocky Mountain firm, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. With over ten years of experience in real estate law, in a law firm or in-house legal department setting, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our real estate department in various real estate transactions. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate matters, interact with clients, and contribute to the success of our firm.


The responsibilities for this position include:

• Manage the preparation and review of real estate documents, including contracts, agreements, leases, deeds, purchase assignments, and closing documents.

• Navigate through all stages of the real estate closing process.

• Conduct due diligence investigations, title searches/reports, survey reviews, zoning, and analysis of property records.

• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders throughout the real estate transaction process.

• Provide support in drafting correspondence and legal documents, including preparation of legal descriptions and abstracts for contracts and leases, closing checklist and transactional documentation from letter of intent through completion of closing binders.

• Obtains and/or prepares corporate documents, including authorization of the applicable parties to purchase/sell.

• Prepare title objection notices and maintain electronic records.

• Participates in and attends closings.

• Conducts public record searches of parties, including judgments, tax liens, and UCC filings.

• Research legal issues related to real estate matters and provide recommendations.

• Handle administrative tasks as needed to support the real estate team.


Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Certification as a paralegal preferred.

• 7 plus years of experience as a real estate paralegal, with a strong background in commercial real estate transactions.

• Proficiency in real estate terminology, documentation, and procedures.

• Extensive knowledge of title insurance, survey review, and closing processes.
