We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to drive growth by coaching our existing sales team, mentoring junior members of the advisory team, developing industry contacts to help build our professional staff and continuing to grow your own book of business.


Job Description:


Role Overview: As the sales leader at Cutler Investment Group, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our firm by leading our sales efforts, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships to exceed revenue goals. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution, allowing you to leave a lasting legacy and make a significant impact on our firm's success.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy Development:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the firm's overall business objectives, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our sales efforts and driving the firm's growth.
  • Identify target markets, analyze market trends, and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Identify additional advisors for the firm to recruit and add to our team.

Client Acquisition:

  • Lead the process for the Advisory team of identifying, contacting, and converting prospective clients.
  • Ensure the Advisory team utilizes the firm’s CRM tools to manage leads effectively, ensuring follow-up and nurturing of prospects.
  • Establish a strategy and goals for the advisory team to develop Centers of Influence (COI) that may refer clients to the firm.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Oversee the servicing and growth of relationships with existing clients to secure continued business and referrals.
  • Coach the Advisory team on regularly communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals.
  • Potential new services or investment opportunities.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor, coach, and inspire our team of advisors, fostering a culture of excellence and growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing the next generation of leaders within our firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to pass on your knowledge and experience, ensuring the continued success of our team and the firm as a whole.
  • Set key performance targets, monitor achievements, and provide feedback to enhance team performance.

Marketing Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support sales initiatives.
  • Participate in the creation of sales collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials.

Business Development:

  • Establish goals for the Advisory team and you to attend networking events, industry conferences, and seminars to expand the firm’s network.
  • Explore strategic partnerships that could lead to new business avenues with COI’s.
  • Develop and grow own book of business.

Performance Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights.
  • Use data and analytics to refine sales strategies and tactics.

Compliance and Ethics:

  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to regulatory requirements and the firm’s ethical standards.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations that could impact sales practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales management, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and financial planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Valid state licensing or willingness to obtain.
