Land Acquisition Specialist

This position is in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search for suitable properties and areas for Solar & BESS projects
- Identifying and contacting the owners of the sites as well as the relevant authorities and municipal representatives
- Represent the company in negotiations with municipalities and clients
- Scheduling and documenting appointments with properties and land brokers
- Participating in the development and conclusion of Lease/purchase agreements
- Building a local network and attending and organizing meetings
- Communication and coordination with project partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., renewable energy, engineering, business, or related discipline).
- 2-4 years’ experience within the renewable industry or utilities industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
- Proficiency in data management, budgeting, and contract review.
- Building a local network and participating in and organizing meetings
- Communication and coordination with project partners
