*Qualified Content Specialist can work remotely from anywhere in the United States*

Required Education:

*Bachelors degree required.

Minimum qualifications:

*6+ years of experience with journalism, digital content strategy, production and relevant skills

*Prior experience in prompt engineering, annotation and managerial experience preferred

*Demonstrated critical thinking skills and impeccable track record of editorial judgment around nuanced topics (politics, bias, gender, religion etc.) to quality control large datasets of text

*Familiarity with AP Style

*Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

*Proficiency in spreadsheet apps (e.g. Google Sheets, MS Excel) and/or other data analytics tool

*Ability to perform and support basic data analysis and visualization

*A nuanced understanding of sensitive topics including politics and social issues

*Audio and video expertise

*Backgrounds with visual experience (photo editing, video production) or creative writing

Preferred qualifications:

*Deep knowledge of the social media landscape and experience using AI tools

*It would be great to have candidates with additional non-English language skills. This would be seen as a plus, comes in addition to all other required qualifications, not instead of. The languages client is interested in securing are: Spanish, German, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Thai, French, and Italian.

Summary:

The main function of a content specialist is to write, review and edit content on Client platforms often around nuanced and sensitive topics, as well as surface insights around that content. The typical specialist will have excellent editorial judgment, expert writing and editing skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Write, edit and review content for Client platforms, ranging from creative copy to straightforward, informative text

Perform analysis and produce reports with compelling, actionable insights for our partners

Apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency

Collaborate with our content and product teams to improve user experience

Have the ability to work an extended schedule as required
