Marketing Specialist - Role & Responsibilities
The Content Marketing Specialist role is responsible for supporting the marketing department, company and agents with strategic marketing initiatives including but not limited to the following below:
- Lead client-facing communication efforts company-wide, including via email, text, website, social, in-person and phone communications.
- Lead communication research
- Support email marketing development and expansion in Journey builder including reporting on journey performance and increasing conversion down funnel
- Support personalized content technology and strategy in Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation system
- Assist with platform and tools research as it relates to lifecycle marketing capabilities and opportunities.
- Oversee SEO and Blog strategy, including ideation and execution of content.
- Support reporting to key stakeholders on consistent cadence (Monthly, quarterly and annually) on communication progress and opportunities across platforms.
- Lead candidate and new-hire communication efforts company-wide, supporting the talent acquisition, onboarding and training departments with their communication needs.
- Create and execute a company-wide communication production process for departments to create new content.
- Lead public relations efforts including drafts of press releases for approval, approval or releases, and distribution by deadlines.
- Develop and support a QA process for all communication needs company-wide.
- Lead independent-contractor copywriters (as needed) and project management of all graphics and creative as it relates to collateral and lifecycle content.
- Hire and oversee on-going “secret shopper” program for audits and insights into client journey and opportunities.
- Lead audits of website for accurate and up-to-date messaging, awards and stats, plus improved organic performance and ranking.
Additionally, you will support and assist with the following:
- All Marketing reporting
- Organization of all marketing assets
- Email marketing initiatives
- Company award applications and recognition
- Support organic social captions and graphic content for final approval
