Role Overview

The Performance Marketer at Arena Club will focus on driving sales and optimizing signups through paid advertising and data-driven strategies. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Performance Marketer with expertise in digital platforms and Google Analytics. The ideal candidate will be skilled in optimizing website and app conversions, leveraging data-driven strategies to maximize ROI across multiple channels. This role requires a balance of analytical expertise, creativity, and technical proficiency to drive customer acquisition and retention. Compensation is commensurate with experience.


The primary responsibility is to create, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns, ensuring the lowest possible cost per acquisition while scaling user growth across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other paid media channels to drive user acquisition
  • Continuously optimize paid campaigns to reduce cost per signup and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Collaborate with the data science team to analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust targeting, bidding, and creative strategies to improve overall campaign efficiency
  • Work closely with graphic designers and the creative team to develop high-converting ad creatives
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, running A/B tests to refine targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies
  • Coordinate with the product and marketing teams to align performance marketing efforts with company growth objectives
  • Explore new advertising channels and platforms to expand user acquisition efforts while maintaining budget efficiency
  • Drive growth by testing new approaches, creative strategies, and ad formats to continuously lower acquisition costs
  • Collaborate with external agencies or internal teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with overall marketing strategy
  • Set up, manage, and analyze Google Analytics properties (GA4 preferred) for website and app conversions.
  • Monitor and interpret user behavior, traffic sources, conversion rates, and other critical metrics to inform campaign optimization.
  • Implement custom events, goals, and funnels to track marketing performance.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, or digital advertising, preferably in e-commerce or online platforms
  • Proven experience driving user acquisition and optimizing campaigns for the lowest cost per acquisition (CPA)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize campaign performance
  • Expertise in Google Analytics (GA4 and Universal Analytics) for websites and apps.
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and setting up custom tracking events.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, bid management, and campaign optimization methodologies
  • Experience managing campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other paid media platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams (data science, creative, marketing)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Experience with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) like Adjust or AppsFlyer is a plus.
  • Trading card collector or hobbyist is a HUGE plus.
  • Knowledge of major US sports (NBA, NFL, & MLB) (preferred)
  • First-hand experience optimizing Affiliate network (preferred)
