Skills & Experience:


  • Experience with running virtualized Linux based systems within a VMware environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with VMware’s Tanzu platform
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining anti-virus for Linux based systems like RPM, DEB, etc.
  • Experience in patching and maintaining Linux based systems
  • Advance knowledge of Linux based server’s and associated products.
  • Basic knowledge of DNS/SAN/WAN/LAN networking
  • Experience working with Azure, or other cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience with Tomcat and Apache
  • Exposure and experience with cloud-based platforms as an extension of the Linux based server environment.
  • Experience working in the Healthcare Industry will be an added advantage.


Responsibilities:


  • Effective daily operations of company’s Linux based systems.
  • In accordance with change management policy, make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets company’s objectives and maintain SLA’s.
  • Manage and apply necessary system security access.
  • Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.
  • Build and maintain Linux based servers and associated applications in a highly available, scalable, and secure environment.
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and design of our cloud environment
  • Perform root cause analysis for Linux based servers.
  • Team player and ability to work well with others.
  • After hours and weekend work at times required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
