This is a 6 month+ contract Administrative Health Care position on-site in Palo Alto, CA

A Brief Overview
Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

What you will do
* Answers, screens and transfers inbound phone calls
* Greet and direct staff and visitors
* General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
* Stock kitchen/supply areas and maintain building orderliness
* Submit work orders
* Handles requests for information and data
* Resolves administrative problems and inquiries
* Prepares agendas for meetings and prepare schedules
* Sorts and distributes incoming correspondence
* Maintain office supply inventories
* Coordinates maintenance of office equipment
* Prepare, coordinate, and execute All Hand Events
* Manage conference room calendar
* Meeting support: take meeting minutes, revise and send out to team

Education Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience Qualifications
* 2 years of office and/or administrative work experience
* Familiarity and knowledge of computer skills and relevant software (Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
* Familiarity and knowledge of operation of standard office equipment (telephone, copier, fax machine, etc.)
* Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
* Ability to demonstrate business communications skills (verbal, written, listening, reading)
* Ability to follow standard operating policies and procedures.
* Ability to plan and organize
* Ability to prioritize tasks
* Ability to assess and solve problems
* Attention to detail and accuracy skills
* Ability to demonstrate customer service skills
* Ability to work in a team environment

Subject to any applicable laws to the contrary, this employer requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including booster if eligible as a condition of their employment. Candidates are advised that proof of vaccination may be required as a condition of employment.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $22-$25/hr. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
