The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for administering the company’s controlled documents in accordance with customer and company requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain procedures for maintaining documents and change control of documents.

Determine and enforce through functional groups document control requirements in order for the company to meet internal and external needs.

Collect and maintain files of the latest documentation revision level necessary to control manufacturing processes.

Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.

Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.

Perform clerical duties to generate documents as necessary.

Perform duties as defined in division document control policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 to 4 years of broad documentation experience, minimum 1 year in document control.

2 years’ experience in managing technical documentation.

These experiences should be gained in areas of engineering, quality or technical operations and should include a minimum of one year document control management.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent education and work experience, preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well-rounded background.

Additional training in documentation control (i.e., courses/seminars in Document Change Control).

The Director of Regulatory and Human Resources Manager can determine whether education and training are equivalent.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is mild.

May be exposed to hazardous material.

Employees need to consult MSDS on SharePoint.
