Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with plant leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and operational needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Lead the recruitment process for all plant positions, ensuring alignment with workforce planning needs. Partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement training programs that support employee skill development, compliance, and safety initiatives. Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisors and managers on HR best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Manage workplace safety, labor relations, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee performance evaluation processes, supporting plant leadership in employee reviews, goal-setting, and career development discussions.
- Collaborate with corporate HR and finance to manage compensation programs, benefits administration, and reward systems in the plant.
- Lead HR-related change initiatives such as organizational restructuring, workforce adjustments, and employee engagement activities.
- Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, etc.) to identify trends and develop action plans to improve overall employee performance and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with recruitment, training, and talent development strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with plant leadership and employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
