The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Enablement Salesforce Engineering Team, you ll get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate across Fidelity teams in a fun and dynamic environment. You will be an essential team member to help enhance, maintain, and support ongoing existing solutions as well as building new ones for our business partners. You'll also write automated unit and integration tests, package software using containers, coordinate builds using continuous integration pipelines.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

\u00B7 Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field

\u00B7 7+ years of experience

\u00B7 Demonstrated experience in Salesforce administration. Certified Salesforce Administrator is a big plus.

\u00B7 Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development crafting Lightning Apps combining Lightning Design System, Lightning App Builder and Lightning Web Component features. Certified Salesforce Developer is a big plus.

\u00B7 Demonstrated experience working with standard functions/ modules of Salesforce.com such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

\u00B7 Demonstrated experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers, Classes, Callouts, SOQL, Workflow Rules, Approvals, Visual Flow, Process Builder and Platform events.

\u00B7 Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is preferred.

\u00B7 Experience in CRMA is preferred.

\u00B7 Unit and integration test automation using Provar.

\u00B7 Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services.

\u00B7 Knowledge of systems, controls and techniques for identity, authorization, and authentication management.

\u00B7 Passionate and open to learning new tools and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.

\u00B7 Can work well in a small, agile team in a very collaborative environment where your ideas are welcome.

\u00B7 Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills

The\u00A0Purpose\u00A0of Your Role

The Principal Engineer is responsible for working closely with the Technical Lead to architect, design and build pilots and new products.\u00A0 Candidates must be comfortable working with a small team of developers in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment working with emerging technologies, high risks and uncertainty.

  • Strong software programming skills
  • Proven track record designing and building complex end-to-end systems (full stack developer)

  • Experience with databases, Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Non-Relational (MongoDB)
  • Strong Object-Oriented skills and experience with UML
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments, applications and tools
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile/iterative software delivery methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly convey information to a broad array of technical and non-technical audiences

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
