Predictive Monitor is seeking a dedicated Applications Technician I to join our team. This entry-level role is crucial in supporting the implementation, maintenance, and technical support of our OverShield installations within the biopharma sector. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical skills, coupled with exceptional customer service abilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Hardware Installation and Support: Provide hands-on support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components, ensuring all systems function optimally in client environments.
  • Technical Support: Deliver responsive technical support, addressing client inquiries and troubleshooting both hardware and software issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Issue Reporting: Work with Applications Team to identify and report hardware and software issues, contributing to ongoing improvements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to OverShield installations, system configurations, and client interactions, ensuring consistency and clarity.
  • Reporting and Communication: Generate reports and updates to keep internal teams and external stakeholders informed on project status and client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and providing timely, effective support.
  • Feedback Integration: Act as a liaison between clients and Applications Management, conveying customer feedback to drive enhancements in products and services.
  • Training and Guidance: Offer training and support to distributors and end-users, helping them effectively use and maintain the installed systems.
  • Inventory and Order Fulfillment: Assist in managing inventory and fulfilling orders, building assemblies, ensuring all materials and equipment are available when needed.
  • Procedure Development: Contribute to the creation and refinement of work instructions and procedural documentation to support operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside Refrigeration Specialists to analyze customer data, ensuring that installations meet performance expectations.
  • On-Site Installation: Travel to customer locations to install OverShield system, ensuring successful deployment and operation.


Qualifications:


  • An Associate's degree in a STEM field is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Technical aptitude with experience in hardware support and installation is a plus.
  • Experience with basic hand tools and soldering a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Experience or familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
